PhD in Public Health Nursing
Welcome to my academic website! I am Güven Soner, a researcher with a PhD in Public Health Nursing. I am affiliated with the Public Health Nursing department at Ondokuz Mayıs University. My research interests lie at the intersection of vulnerable populations, healthcare experiences, and nursing education, with a particular focus on improving healthcare accessibility and quality for marginalized groups.
My recent work explores diverse aspects of these interests, from the meaning of silence in healthcare for individuals with visual impairments and how nursing students utilize it in practice, to LGBTI+ individuals' experiences within the Turkish healthcare system and disability-friendly nursing education. I invite you to explore my publications, including articles in journals like Nurse Leader, Nurse Education Today, and Issues in Mental Health Nursing, to learn more about my contributions to the field. I am always open to collaboration and discussion, so please feel free to reach out.
